MORE THAN FOREVER, #4

-LUCY-

There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.

A heart so strong it will never slow.

There is a promise so sure it can never lie.

He promised me that love forever.

Even when it wasn't enough.

-CAMERON-

Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.

There is no measure of time.

No sounds of the ticking of a clock.

Just the rising and falling of the sun.

And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn't always.

Sleep was hardly an option when I was given an ARC copy of this beautiful book. I will admit that it is very rare that I show my emotions when reading which is something I usually prefer to do in private. I literally LOL on some parts, tears on others, pissed off in a few scenes, shocked at times, swooning over "Luca" moments...needless to say I was all over the place! Jay McLean once again has captured my heart, broke it to pieces, and magically puts it back together!

We gotten to know a little bit of Cameron and Lucy in the previous books and this book gives you everything you wanted to know and more about the couple. It takes us back to the beginning when Cameron first laid eyes on Lucy and where Lucy's world was about to change. From high school to college to questions of what forever means this books takes you on a journey that captures the reality of what love can do to a person and leaves you thinking about what life and happiness means.

This book is not just another love ❤️ story rather it is MORE THAN you can ever imagine a story about what FOREVER can be.

<EXCERPT>

"I hate that guy," Logan jerks his head toward Jake and a new kid.

"The new kid? Dylan?"

He nods. "He thinks he owns the school."

"Really?" I glare over at them. "Apparently he kills it on the basketball court, but I dunno." I shrug. "He hasn't said two words to me. He seems quiet."

"Those are the ones you have to worry about, Cam. The quiet broody assholes get all the girls. Better watch him around that new girl of yours."

I play dumb. "What new girl?"

"Shut up, asshole. You don't think I notice you watching her all the fucking time?"

I lift my chin. "I think if there's an asshole in this entire school to watch out for, it's you."

He laughs and adjusts his cap. "You don't need to worry about me. I'm not into stealing my friend's girls." He shoves his hand in his catcher's glove and smacks my arm with it. "Say the word. Claim her. I promise to stay away and I'll make sure she's untouchable to everyone else."

"I'm not an asshole and she isn't property. I can't own her."

"If that's what you want." He raises an eyebrow. "She's cute. In a couple years she'll be hot. Guys will be all over her. I'm just trying to help out."

I think about what he's saying, and he makes a good point. Only he's wrong—she's hot now. "Fine. I claim her. She's mine."

His smirk is instant. "You can't own someone, you pig. She isn't property."

I laugh. "Fuck you."

Jake struts over to us. "Ya reckon that new kid Dylan can hang out with us this arvo? He seems like a top bloke."

Logan's gaze moves to me, confusion clear on his face.

I shrug. He lets out a chuckle before gripping both of Jake's shoulders and shaking him gently. He looks him right in the eye, speaking slowly and clearly. "I have no idea what the fuck you just said."

***THE MORE SERIES***

MORE THAN THIS, #1

*Mikaya*

In one night my fairytale ended. Or it may have begun. This is my story of friendship and love, heartbreak and desire, and the strength to show weakness.

*Jake*.

One night I met a girl. A sad and broken girl, but one more beautiful than any other. She laugh through her sadness, while I loved through her heartbreak.

*This is our story of a maybe ever after.*

He was right. It made no difference whether it was 6 months or 6 years.

I couldn't undo what had been done. I couldn't change the future.

I couldn't even predict it.

It was one night.

One night when everything changed.

It was so much more than just the betrayal.

It was the Tragedy.

The Deaths.

The Murders.

But is was also that feeling.

The feeling of falling.

MORE THAN HER, #2

For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction." For every choice you make there are rewards, or there are consequences. It was my choice to walk away the first time. And my choice to chase her the second. But sometimes you don't get a choice, and all you get are the consequences.” "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” Unless that someone is Logan Matthews. Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away. It didn't give me the courage to fight for him. And when it was over, all it gave me was a broken heart.

MORE THAN HIM, #3

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.
And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.
And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.
