Although I liked how the relationship was progressing between Donovan and Kenna regardless of the past they had gone through I was not feeling anything else. I was hoping for a more shocking scene(s) and or background but nothing more than a predictable ending.  

Don’t get me wrong I see the sequel having potential. Since there are still unanswered questions in the story I would continue with the series and see where it goes. I have a feeling it will just get better.
